Test Post: Why I’m Using Claude to Write (and Ship) Blog Content

This is a test post created via the Claude–WordPress connection to check the publishing workflow.

I’ve started using Claude as part of how I write and publish blog content for Daniel Stevens Digital, and it’s worth explaining why.

It’s not about replacing the writing

I still write my own copy. What’s changed is everything around the writing — the blank-page problem, the structuring, the “does this actually flow” second-guessing. Claude is useful as a thinking partner for that part, not as a ghostwriter.

The bit that actually saves time

The real win for me has been the workflow: draft an idea, refine it in conversation, then push it straight into WordPress without switching tools or copy-pasting between five different windows. For a one-person consultancy, that kind of friction reduction adds up fast.

Why this matters for clients

A lot of the small businesses and sports clubs I work with are sitting on content they know they should be publishing — case studies, updates, news — but never get around to it. Tools like this lower the barrier enough that “we’ll do a blog post about that” actually happens.

Status: this post is a draft, created to confirm the connection between Claude and this WordPress site is working correctly.
